Aly brings a passion for retail experience to the team with an almost lifelong exposure to retail business and a love of shopping. She is responsible for managing marketing for our clients as well as Retail Concepts internal company operations and client relationships. Aly brings a customer perspective to the team, having worked at such ad agencies as Leo Burnett, marchFIRST and Hill, Holliday. As one of our core retail experts, her client experience ranges from large retailers such as Marshalls and Dunkin' Donuts to start-ups like Covalex and Aerospan. Her marketing and entrepreneurial background pushed her to start her own purse company, Out of the Box Bags, and involved her in other start-up ventures in recent years.

Ani is our resident business development and retail merchandising maven. Whether you need help understanding how Retail Concepts' services can best meet your needs, or want some direction with your merchandising challenges, Ani is your go-to girl and one of our key retail experts. As an entrepreneur herself, she understands the challenges that start-ups and existing stores face, and is a valuable resource for our retail clients.
While Ani brings an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Boston University to the table, her true passion lies in retail merchandising, specifically in buying and planning. She has spent her career in merchandising and marketing at retail companies such as TJX, Tommy Hilfiger, Macy’s Inc. and J. Jill, and one day may just open up her own clothing boutique. Kylie is a retail consultant who keeps us connected, and more than just technically. Based in Portland, Oregon, she is our "west coast" retail consultant, helping to broaden our east coast perspective. As our technology talent, she keeps our website and technology up and running and helps our retail clients do the same. Kylie also manages research which often means finding those tiny tidbits of information that give our retail customers an edge over the competition.
Kylie has a BS in Marketing from Bentley College and her background includes, most recently, serving as executive producer for the travel website, RedWeek.com. She has also worked as an advertising campaign analyst for a major weather website in Boston, as well as a media planner/buyer for Eyescream Interactive in Portland.

Mike is our in-house retail expert and strategist. How did he get there? Mike has spent most of his life working in or surrounded by retail. He co-founded Gatepost, a specialty clothing store which operated eleven stores in three states. As COO, he managed all facets of the business, allowing him to understand the unique challenges that independent retailers face. He also boasts a background in corporate retail, having served as an executive with Filene's and Filene's Basement involved in retail merchandising and management.
Mike likes to share his knowledge with our retail clients and with his students. He teaches retailing at Bentley University, and has served as a board member for the Boston Chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Fashion Advisory Board at Fisher College. He is frequently seen and quoted on retail topics in both regional and national media outlets. Mike graduated with a BA in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and an MBA in Marketing from Boston University. Feel free to drop Mike a note.

Sammy brings a fresh perspective to retail. She thoroughly understands the youth market and will be your go-to girl for anything from merchandise planning to innovative retail marketing strategies on social media and beyond. With a degree from Boston College, she is a Boston native but her travels have introduced her to retail concepts from around the world which brings a unique perspective to the team.
Though Sammy may be the team's most recent addition, she has worked in Global Brand Marketing at Reebok and spearheaded guerilla-marketing campaigns for Cascadian Farms Organics and Muscle Milk.
